GSS America signs a Memorandum of Understanding with BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus

GSS America has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BITS Pilani to set up a 'Center of Excellence for SaaS' at their Hyderabad campus. The objective of the partnership is to create 360 degrees collaboration between GSS America and BITS Pilani to offer a platform for service alliance for the long term benefit of the BITS students. As a part of the MOU, GSS America will accommodate a batch of 10 students of BITS for each practice school 1&2 program. The program which will be interactive and logical in nature will involve students in problem solving activities of direct interest and relevance to the organizations and orient students to the professional world. The Practice School 1 program would commence in May 2010 followed by Practice School 2 program in July 2010.

GSS America Infotech will be sponsoring the 'Top 3 Performers' of the program for the 'Masters of Engineering Program' offered by the Institute on a yearly basis. GSS & BITS will develop Global Campus Management System as the first product in this Centre of Excellence. GSS is committed in providing students the best technical knowledge combined with professional orientation to increase their employment opportunities and develop their skill set for better understanding of the industry.

As a part of the program there will also be guest lecturers from Practice Managers once in a month on the service offerings under 'Managed IT Services' who will guide the students and provide them with the best technical knowledge.
